Pu-Quà. A Fishmonger. The Chinese fish seller as street vendor, here slicing a carp into pieces. More of them in a tub besides him. Colored stipple by J. Dadley (active before 1797 – after 1803). Inscribed: Pu-Quà, Cantòn, Delin. / Dadley. London. Sculpt. 26 x 22 cm.

From Lipperheide Le 21. – With explanation sheet in German + French. – Side-correct after-engraving about 1810 after Dadley’s engraving of 1799 (Lipperh. Le 17). – On fresh buff paper.
