Theodor l'Arronge as Frieder Kranich in The Hurdy-gurdy Man

L’Arronge – (Hurdy-Gurdy Man and his Child, The.) Theodor l’Arronge (father of Adolph l’A., comic playwright, director of the Deutsches Theater, Berlin, 1838-1908,?) as Frieder Kranich in Charlotte Birch-Pfeiffer’s play at the City Theatre at (Berlin-Neu-)Cöln. Over the back the barrel-organ, the right is supported on the folding seat. Glazed coloured lithograph printed with tone plate for Louis Veit, Berlin. (1859/60.) 22.4 x 14.8 cm.
