The desired view of the Prague architectural painter in the engraving of one “of the most excellent (copper +) steel engraver” (Nagler). After Thieme-Becker together architectural draughtsman himself, painter in oil and water-colour, and landscapist in general it is allowed to declare the noticeably fine colouring as surely original by Poppel himself. The proportionate patina standing entirely in harmony with this.
