Brussels, Tabernacle in Ste Gudule’s Church. Altar with tabernacle of the Gothic cathedral at Ste. Gudule and Ste. Michael as the most important sacred building of the city accommodating also the entombment of the painters, while in the choir of which on Oct. 22, 1555, the capital of the Order of the Golden Fleece elected Philipp II of Spain to their Grand Master. It was a part of the “Splendid zenith in the sequence of abdications (on behalf of Karl V) and inthronements” (Heinz Schilling). With two figures.
