In moonlit thick forest place surrounded by high palisades with the wolf at the dead sheep, fuming with venom at the second one halting at the leap-off point. Etching + engraving. (1729.) Thienemann + Schwarz 40. – Marvelous impression of also most finely wide margins: 3.5-6 cm above + below, 8.5-9.5 cm laterally, besides in the outer part, particularly below and right, slightly fox-spotted. Isolated tiniest tears in the lower margin backed acid-freely.
